When my son, Zachariah was 4 he was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. At first I worried about all the things he may never do. I chose to focus on all his strengths instead and worked to make him believe he could do anything he wanted to. Today he is 17, captain of his high scoop swim team and a straight A student with a lot of friends. Next year he will be going to college to pursue his dream of becoming a college professor. I believe anything is possible with an open heart and open mind.
